WASHINGTON, DC – Veterans Intellectual Property (VIP), a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting veterans and their families with intellectual property issues, is proud to announce its inclusion as an Ambassador in the Weather-Ready Nation (WRN) initiative by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
The WRN initiative is a comprehensive effort by NOAA to increase the nation’s readiness, responsiveness, and overall resilience against extreme weather, water, and climate events. As a WRN Ambassador, VIP will work to bolster the initiative’s goals by promoting weather safety and preparedness within the veteran community.
“Being recognized as a WRN Ambassador is a significant honor,” said Chuck Tyler, VIP’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our mission has always been to empower and support veterans. This partnership allows us to extend our reach and ensure that our community is prepared for any weather-related challenges they may face.”
VIP is known for its commitment to helping veterans navigate the complex world of intellectual property. With a network of pro-bono or low-cost patenting attorneys, VIP provides expert assistance with patents, trademarks, and copyrights, all at no cost to veterans. This new partnership with WRN will allow VIP to further serve the veteran community by providing vital information and resources related to weather preparedness and safety.
